Cannaday Elementary School

Dr. J.C. Cannaday Elementary School serves approximately 600-650 Pre-Kindergarten through 5th-grade students. Our campus opened in 1986 and we are a proud member of the Kimbrough Middle School and Poteet High School feeder pattern.  As a learning community, we are committed to adding value to ourselves and others. Our focus at Cannaday Elementary is to guide our approximately 650 PreK through 5th-grade students on becoming independent thinkers and global citizens by balancing academics and social-emotional experiential learning in real-world settings.
